Arsenal fans have been left in shock after one of their biggest critics, Gary Neville, has admitted that the Gunners could win the Premier League title this season. The former Manchester United legend and football pundit has always been known for his negative comments about Arsenal, but his recent statement has caught everyone by surprise.

Neville stated, “I think that Arsenal can win the league this season. Despite starting slow, the football will come, the football that we saw from them last season.” He also added, “The fact that they’ve started a little bit slower, I never think is a bad thing, they’re sat there in the pack behind.”

This unexpected praise comes as Arsenal currently sits in 3rd position on the Premier League table with 27 points after 12 matches in the 2023/24 campaign. The Gunners have shown great form in recent weeks and have been steadily climbing up the table.

Arsenal fans have often criticized Neville for his biased opinions against their club, but his recent comments have left them pleasantly surprised. Many supporters are now cautiously optimistic about their team’s chances of winning the league this season.

While it remains to be seen if Arsenal can maintain their current form and mount a serious title challenge, Neville’s surprising admission has certainly given Gunners fans something to cheer about. Only time will tell if Arsenal can prove their critics wrong and lift the Premier League trophy at the end of the season.
