Arteta reveals the top Arsenal star that will miss game against Sevilla
Gabriel Jesus has been an important player for Arsenal this season, contributing with four goals and one assist in all competitions. However, the Brazilian forward will be unavailable for their upcoming match against Sevilla on Wednesday.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta confirmed the news, stating that Gabriel Jesus won’t be fit to play. This comes as a blow for the Gunners, as Gabriel Jesus has been a key figure in their attacking line-up.
The 25-year-old forward has missed Arsenal’s last two games due to injury, and his absence has been felt on the pitch. His pace, movement, and goal-scoring ability have been crucial for Arsenal’s success this season.
Despite Gabriel Jesus’ absence, Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from their recent defeat in the Premier League. The Gunners suffered their first loss in the league this season, as they were defeated 1-0 by Newcastle United at St James Park.
With 24 points, Arsenal currently sit in 4th position on the Premier League table in the 2023/24 campaign. Their focus now shifts to the UEFA Champions League, where they will face Sevilla at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
Arteta will have to come up with a plan to compensate for Gabriel Jesus’ absence and ensure that Arsenal put on a strong performance against Sevilla. The Gunners will be hoping to secure a positive result in their quest for European glory.
