Arteta reveals some good Arsenal news ahead of the game against Brentford
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has delivered some positive news ahead of their upcoming match against Brentford. He has confirmed that Gabriel Jesus, who has missed the last three matches due to a hamstring injury, is now available for selection.
Speaking about Jesus’ fitness, Arteta stated, “He’s available. He played 96 minutes in a really competitive match [vs. Argentina]. We have another session, they had a long flight & I have to see the condition of every single player to make the final call on the lineup.”
This update will come as a relief to Arsenal fans, as Jesus’ presence on the field has been sorely missed in recent games. The Brazilian forward brings a wealth of talent and goal-scoring ability to the team, and his return will undoubtedly boost Arsenal’s attacking options.
Currently sitting in 3rd position on the Premier League table with 27 points, Arsenal have been performing well in the 2023/24 campaign. Their most recent victory came against Burnley, where they secured a 3-1 win at the Emirates Stadium.
Looking ahead to their clash against Brentford, Arsenal will be eager to continue their winning streak and maintain their strong position in the league. The match is set to take place at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday, November 25th, 2023.
Arteta’s final decision on the starting lineup will depend on the condition of each player following their long flight. However, with Gabriel Jesus now available, Arsenal will have an added boost in their quest for victory against Brentford.
Fans will be eagerly awaiting the team announcement and hoping that Jesus’ return can inspire Arsenal to another impressive performance and three valuable points.
