Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has opened up about the challenges he is facing this season as teams try to nullify his threat on the pitch. The talented youngster has been a standout performer for the Gunners, scoring four goals and providing five assists in the Premier League so far.

In a recent interview with The Standard, Saka revealed that he often finds himself facing a double team with two players marking him closely. He also mentioned that his teammate Gabriel Martinelli is facing a similar situation in every game. Saka acknowledged that he watches his games back to find a solution and improve his performance.

“I feel like a lot of games I’m facing a double team with two guys on me and it’s the same for Gabi (Martinelli). It’s happening in every game. I keep watching all my games back trying to find a solution, what I can do better,” Saka said.

Despite the challenges, Saka remains determined to find a way to overcome them. He understands that this is how it’s going to be this season and he needs to adapt to it. Saka believes that he needs to keep finding ways to make an impact on the pitch, just as he did in their recent game against Brentford, which Arsenal won 1-0.

“In the end I just feel like I need to understand that this is how it’s going to be this season and I just need to deal with it and keep finding a way like I did today. That’s what I need to keep doing,” Saka added.

Arsenal’s impressive form this season has seen them sitting at the top of the Premier League table with 30 points. Their recent victory against Brentford further solidified their position as title contenders. The Gunners will now turn their attention to the UEFA Champions League, where they will face Lens at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, November 29th.

As Saka continues to face challenges on the pitch, his determination and willingness to improve will undoubtedly play a crucial role in Arsenal’s success this season.
