Arsenal receive a huge set back ahead of their game against Aston Villa
Arsenal will this weekend be looking to keep up with their form when they face Aston Villa but they have however received a set back ahead of their game.

Arsenal have received a setback ahead of their upcoming Premier League game against Aston Villa as manager Mikel Arteta will be banned from the touchline. The Football Association has confirmed that Arteta’s booking during Arsenal’s recent game against Luton Town was for “excessive celebrating”, which has resulted in a touchline ban for the upcoming match.
This news comes as a blow to Arsenal, who are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table with 36 points after 15 league games in the 2023/24 campaign. Their last game against Luton Town ended in a thrilling 4-3 victory for the Gunners, and they will be looking to maintain their winning momentum in their upcoming fixture against Aston Villa.
Arteta’s absence from the touchline will undoubtedly be felt by the team, as his presence and guidance from the sidelines have been instrumental in Arsenal’s success so far this season. However, with a talented squad at his disposal, Arteta will be hoping that his players can rise to the occasion and secure another important victory in his absence.
The Gunners will need to regroup and adapt to Arteta’s absence as they prepare to face Aston Villa at Villa Park on 9th December, 2023. Despite this setback, Arsenal will be aiming to continue their impressive form and secure three points against their opponents.
