Arteta reveals whether he believes Arsenal will win the Champions League title

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed his belief that his squad has what it takes to compete at the highest level in the UEFA Champions League. Following a hard-fought 1-1 draw against PSV in their final group-stage game, Arteta spoke to the media about his team’s performance and their potential in the competition.
“What I’ve seen is that we can compete at this level & we came top of the group which is very important, especially the way we did it with a game in hand. We have to win game by game & we arrive again in February,” Arteta said.
The draw against PSV saw Arsenal finish top of their group, showcasing their ability to navigate through tough European competition. Despite not securing a win in their final group-stage game, Arteta remains optimistic about his team’s chances moving forward.
Arsenal are currently sitting in 2nd position on the Premier League table with 36 points after 16 league games. Their next challenge will be against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 17th December, 2023.
As they continue to juggle domestic and European competitions, Arteta and his squad will be looking to build on their recent performances and make a strong push for success in both the Premier League and UEFA Champions League. With Arteta’s confidence and belief in his team’s abilities, Arsenal fans can look forward to an exciting campaign ahead.
