Arsenal will be looking to maintain their impressive form as they take on Luton Town away from home in the Premier League. The Gunners currently sit at the top of the table with 33 points after 14 league games, and they will be hoping to extend their lead with a win against Luton.

The last time these two teams met in any competition was back in December 1991, with Luton securing a 1-0 win at Kenilworth Road. However, Arsenal will be looking to put an end to their winless streak of 10 away games against Luton in all competitions. The Gunners have not secured an away win against Luton since January 1984, and they will be eager to change that statistic.

In their recent games, Arsenal have shown their ability to perform well when facing a side in the Premier League for the first time, winning six out of the last seven such matches. However, they did suffer a 2-0 defeat at Brentford in their last encounter of this nature in August 2021. On the other hand, Luton have struggled against teams starting the day at the top of the table, winning just one out of their last 14 league games against such opponents.

Arsenal have a strong record when playing on days between Friday and Monday, winning over half of their Premier League games on these days. However, their win rate drops to below 50% on days between Tuesday and Thursday.

As for Luton Town, they currently sit in the 17th position on the Premier League table with nine points from two wins and three draws out of 14 games. They will be looking to secure a positive result against Arsenal as they aim to climb up the table.

Overall, it promises to be an exciting encounter as Arsenal look to maintain their position at the top of the table while Luton Town aims to secure valuable points in their battle for survival in the Premier League.
