Odegaard reveals what Arsenal needs to do to get success this season
Arsenal’s midfielder and captain, Martin Odegaard, has shared insights on the key elements necessary for the team to achieve success in the ongoing 2023/24 season. Following an impressive performance in the recent Premier League game against Burnley at Turf Moor, which culminated in a resounding 5-0 victory for the Gunners, Odegaard emphasized the importance of consistency and continuous improvement for Arsenal to reach their goals.
In an interview with The Standard, Odegaard highlighted the positive momentum generated by the team’s recent stellar display:
“Last game was a great performance and yeah we played really good again. We just have to keep going like this, there’s a long way to go and we can still improve a lot of things. I think that’s the mindset. We just want to keep going and keep improving.”
Arsenal’s current position of 3rd on the Premier League table with 55 points after 25 league games underscores the team’s ambition and competitiveness in the domestic competition. As they prepare for a challenging UEFA Champions League fixture against FC Porto at Estádio do Dragão on Wednesday, 21st February, 2024, Odegaard’s words serve as a rallying call for sustained dedication and progress on all fronts.
With a focus on continuous development and a collective mindset geared towards growth and refinement, Arsenal under Odegaard’s leadership aims to push boundaries and elevate their performance to new heights. As they navigate the demanding schedule of domestic and European competitions, the Gunners stand poised to make a significant impact by adhering to Odegaard’s philosophy of perseverance, improvement, and unwavering determination to succeed this season.
