Rice reveals the secret behind Arsenal making come backs after conceding
Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has opened up on the gunners’ ability to stage comebacks after conceding first in matches. The 25-year-old has attributed the team’s resilience to their growth and belief in each other.
“The team learned a lot last year. We’re stronger and have more belief. When we go a goal down we always believe we will get back into games. It’s honestly an honour to play for this club,” Rice told the media.
Currently sitting in 3rd place on the Premier League table with 58 points after 26 league games in the 2023/24 campaign, Arsenal have been impressive in their performances this season. Their recent game against Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium ended in a convincing 4-1 win for the gunners.
Their next challenge will be against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Monday, 4th March, 2024. With Declan Rice contributing significantly to the team’s success this season, having scored four goals and provided five assists in the Premier League so far.
Rice’s versatility and leadership qualities have been crucial for Arsenal, both on and off the pitch. His ability to drive his teammates forward and maintain a positive mindset even when facing adversity has been commendable.
As Arsenal continue their push for a top-four finish and potentially challenging for silverware, Declan Rice’s presence in midfield will be vital. His determination and never-say-die attitude epitomize the spirit of the gunners as they look to achieve their goals this season.
With Rice leading by example, Arsenal fans can expect more thrilling comebacks and exciting performances from their beloved team as they strive for success in both domestic and European competitions.
