With the Premier League title hanging by a thread, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed his strategy for the final day showdown against Everton: complete focus on the task at hand. When asked if he’d be keeping tabs on Manchester City’s match against West Ham United while on the touchline, Arteta had a clear answer:

“Sixty thousand people [will be doing it], all the staff, all the assistant coaches, all the families. People on their phones, I think that’s enough.”

Arteta’s message is clear: Arsenal’s focus must remain solely on securing a victory against Everton, ensuring they do their part in the title race.

While the Gunners currently trail Manchester City by two points, their fate rests not only on their own result but also on the outcome of City’s match. Yet, Arteta is adamant that dwelling on external factors would be counterproductive.

The Emirates will be a cauldron of anticipation as fans hope for a miracle. Arteta’s approach, prioritizing complete focus on their own game, suggests a manager who trusts his team’s ability to deliver on the pitch. It’s a strategy that underscores the need for calm and collected leadership in a high-pressure environment.

I just love writing and football so much ever since the 2000's when football got popular in our country. I am a self esteemed person who believes is am always right.
