Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice expressed his delight following the Gunners’ commanding 3-0 victory over Bournemouth, emphasizing the team’s dominant performance and the importance of the result in their pursuit of the Premier League title.

“You could see after the first half, it was an annihilation,” Rice declared to the media, highlighting Arsenal’s control and attacking prowess throughout the match. “I sensed that I was going to score. Goal, assist and 3 points. It is what we needed. I am delighted it was a big result. We knew today it was business and we had to handle it.”

Arsenal’s performance against Bournemouth was indeed a display of dominance, with the Gunners creating numerous scoring opportunities and limiting the Cherries to minimal attacking threats. Bukayo Saka opened the scoring from the penalty spot late in the first half, followed by a well-taken goal from Leandro Trossard after the break, assisted by Rice. The midfielder then capped off a memorable performance with a late goal of his own, securing a comfortable 3-0 victory for the Gunners.

The win propelled Arsenal to 83 points in the Premier League table, extending their lead over Manchester City to four points, although City has two games in hand. With the title race entering its crucial stages, Rice’s message to the fans reflects the team’s determination and focus.

“We knew today it was business and we had to handle it,” Rice emphasized, demonstrating the team’s understanding of the importance of each game in their quest for the title. His words, coupled with his impressive performance on the field, will undoubtedly boost the confidence and morale of both the team and the fans as they prepare for the upcoming challenges.
