Arsenal have reportedly informed both Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney that they are free to leave the club this summer. According to TBR Football, the Gunners are open to letting the two left-backs depart as they seek to reshape their squad ahead of the upcoming season.

Zinchenko, who arrived from Manchester City in 2022, was Arsenal’s first-choice left-back last season, but struggled with injuries. The Ukrainian international’s availability was inconsistent, prompting speculation about his long-term future at the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile, Tierney, who spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Real Sociedad, has returned to Arsenal. The Scottish defender had previously been a key player for the Gunners, but fell out of favor under manager Mikel Arteta.

The decision to allow both players to leave signals Arsenal’s intent to strengthen their left-back position. The club is reportedly keen on signing a new player in that position, and the departures of Zinchenko and Tierney would free up space in the squad and potentially funds for a new signing.

This development could spark interest from several clubs in both players, who possess significant experience at the highest level. With the summer transfer window open, Zinchenko and Tierney will be weighing their options as they seek a fresh start in their careers.

Arsenal’s decision to open the door for their departures highlights the club’s desire to build a competitive squad for the upcoming season. With new signings potentially on the horizon, the Gunners will be hoping for a successful transfer window as they strive for further success in the Premier League and Champions League.
