Read: Wenger’s Farewell Speech After Last Match At Emirates Stadium

Arsene Wenger was honoured for the services he has given to Arsenal football club today since today's match was his last home match.

Arsene Wenger announced his decision to step down as Arsenal manager at the end of this season so today’s match against Burnley was the French man’s last match at the Emirates Stadium as a manager of the North Londoners.

The gunners had a splendid evening today because they successfully defeated Burnley 5-0 thanks to goals from Pierre-Emeridk Aubameyang (2), Alexandre Lacazette, Sead Kolasinac and Alex Iwobi who all netted in today’s match giving the manager a happy evenings and farewell.

The manager addressed the crowd after the match as he was being honored for all what he has done for the club in the 22 years he has spent at the Emirates Stadium. Wenger started by wishing his friend Sir Alex Ferguson also quick recovery after it was reported that he isn’t in a good condition yesterday.

ARSENE WENGER’S EMOTIONAL SPEECH

“I always be an Arsenal fan, it is what unites us in every cell of our body, those dreams and worries.’

“I would like to thank everyone at the club who makes this club so special.’ continued Wenger. “This group of players have special quality, not only on the pitch but off it too. Support them next season, because they deserve it. ”

“I will miss you, thank you for being such an important part of my life. I hope to see you soon, Bye bye.”

Arsene Wenger is the best Arsenal manager that they have ever had because he has won them many competitions and even increased their fan base in the early 2000’s when he had the invincible team that went the full season un beaten.

For his achievements, the manager was given a golden replica of the Premier League trophy which was given to the gunners in the 2003-2004 invincible season.
