Arsene Wenger has revealed that staying at Arsenal for twenty two years is his worst mistake that he has ever made in his footballing career.
Arsene Wenger spent 22 years at Arsenal but he finally decided to leave the gunners this summer after he had faced continuous criticism from the Arsenal supporters.
The Frenchman has passed through a lot in his footballing career because he became a hero to Arsenal fans after he won the Premier league trophy with an unbeaten record but it was very tough for him in the next few years as the gooners became impatient of him because he failed to lead the gunners to glory since their 2004 triumph.
Arsene Wenger has however opened up that his worst mistake was staying at Arsenal for two decades in an interview which he had with RTL as he talks about a number of certain issues, the former Arsenal manager was asked this question.
What if you told us your biggest mistake?
“Perhaps staying at the same club for 22 years. I am someone who likes to move around alot but I also like a challenge. I’ve been a prisoner of my own challenge at times.” said Arsene Wenger.
Arsenal fans will definitely agree with the Frenchman because they believe that he should have left the gunners in 2010 which is the time when the criticizing of Wenger started.
