Alexandre Lacazette Indirectly Makes Plea To Unai Emery

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette came off the bench on Saturday when the gunners welcomed West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium and the French striker made significant impact in the match as he improved the attack of Unai Emery.

Arsenal fans expected Lacazette to finally start on Saturday because they had advised Unai Emery to be playing both the two strikers but the manager insisted that he can’t do that because there wouldn’t be balance in the squad on the pitch so Aubameyang started as a solo striker against the hammers.

The gunners made a 1-1 draw at halftime and Unai Emery immediately brought in Alexandre Lacazette to try to look for a goal since this was an important match to him and the fans, the striker seemed to be hungry for goals because you could see his frustration when he misses a chance or loses the ball during an attack. Lacazette’s hard work finally paid off as the gunners got a scrappy goal thanks to the Frenchman who tried sending a pass, which hit a West Ham player and right into the back of the net to make it 2-1.

The gunners then later completed the job after Danny Welbeck scored a neat goal thanks to a great cross by Hector Bellerin but Alexandre Lacazette made big impact in the match, and the fans have backed him to getting into the starting lineup with or ahead of Aubameyang.

Alexandre Lacazette has indirectly sent a plea to Unai Emery to be starting him in matches as he says that he wants to help his team all the time as reported by the Mirror.

“What I do is different to everyone else. I just want to play and help my team all the time.”

“When you come off the bench you have to be ready for your team-mates, it is what I tried to do and obviously it helped us to get the win.”
