OFFICIAL: Arsenal Forward Leaves Club On Deadline Day

Lucas Perez has left Arsenal to join West Ham United on a three-year deal and the North Londoners have wished him the best at his new club.

Arsenal have announced the departure of Lucas Perez who joins West Ham United on a three-year deal as the gunners continue letting go of players ahead of the new season.

The striker finally leaves the North Londoners despite many statements by his agent saying that the Spanish international wants to stay at the Emirates Stadium but it is likely that Lucas Perez decided to leave the club because he was afraid that he won’t get enough playing time this season under Unai Emery.

The Arsenal supporters won’t be that disappointed that Lucas Perez has left the club because the striker has failed to live up to expectations at the club but the blame is put on Arsene Wenger for not giving him enough chances in his first season at the Emirates Stadium two years ago.

Arsenal is reducing on the number of players in its record books to cut on their wage budget which is currently high since the gunners do have players like Mesut Ozil who are getting paid huge sums of money so Lucas Perez joins that list of players who get axed from the club.

A statement from Arsenal’s official website read;

“We would like to thank Lucas for his contribution and wish him well for the future.”
