Arsenal Provides Injury Update On Petr Cech, Emile Smith Rowe and Laurent Koscielny

Arsenal has confirmed that Petr Cech will be on the sidelines for four weeks after getting a hamstring injury and the club also gave an update on the other injured players.

Arsenal has released a statement about the condition of the players who are on the sidelines ahead of their Europa League match against Qarabag on Thursday.

Petr Cech got injured on Saturday when the gunners had welcomed Watford at the Emirates Stadium and the Arsenal fans have waited for an official announcement on how long the Czech Republican international will be on the sidelines. Arsenal has confirmed via their official website that Petr Cech will be out for one month due to a hamstring injury.

The statement from Arsenal also revealed the latest on the other players who are on the sidelines.

Emile Smith Rowe

The youngster got a hip injury during Arsenal’s match against Brentford last week but the club has confirmed that he is now available for selection.

Emile Smith Rowe might be on the squad that travels to Azerbaijan this week because he is among the highly rated young Arsenal players this season.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Arsenal confirms that Maitland-Niles is progressing well in training and that he might make a return to full training in early October.

Dinos Mavropanos

The centre back has a groin injury and is expected to return to full training by the end of October.

Laurent Koscielny

The Arsenal Captain is still on the sidelines and the fans can’t wait to have him back on the pitch. Koscielny is also expected to return to full training in November.

So that’s it, basically, Laurent Koscielny, Dinos Mavropanos and Ainsley Maitland-Niles won’t be taking part in Arsenal’s match against Qarabag this Thursday.
