Arsene Wenger Opens Up On Aaron Ramsey’s Future

Aaron Ramsey’s future at Arsenal is uncertain because there are many reports linking him away from the Emirates Stadium because the North Londoners withdrew a new deal which he was ready to sign.

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger signed Aaron Ramsey a decade ago and the Wales international must owe much to the French manager because he gave him the opportunity to showcase his talent to the world.

Aaron Ramsey recently confirmed reports of him not agreeing on a new deal  and he said that he would continue playing for the gunners and be hopeful that they change their mind because he clearly stated that he has left everything to the North London club.

Arsene Wenger was in talks with Aaron Ramsey and his representatives over a new deal before he left Arsenal in May and the Frenchman was asked if he would give the Wales international a new deal if he was still in charge of the gunners. He replied; “We tried that before and it still can happen.”

“I don’t really know what is happening at Arsenal. Sure, Aaron Ramsey is in a strong position now and he will use this position.” said Arsene Wenger as claimed by the Mirror.

“But I don’t know how far Arsenal will go in terms of giving him a huge contract. These things were once my responsibility, but not anymore. I’m happy about that.”

It seems Arsene Wenger didn’t want to make any direct comment on if the gunners should really offer Aaron Ramsey a new deal or not. The Arsenal supporters will be hoping to see the best from Aaron Ramsey because this might be their last season with him because he is expected to leave the North London club.
