The January transfer window will be closing in a few days from now and Arsenal has become active in the transfer market according to reports and it’s now claimed that the gunners have contacted Real Madrid on the possibility of signing James Rodriguez on loan in this transfer window.
The gunners are rebuilding themselves under Unai Emery after having been with Arsene Wenger for more than 20 years but the North Londoners will however fail to sign players permanently in this transfer window because of unknown reasons but it’s reportedly because of lack of money to spend.
Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has already confirmed that the club will only be able to sign players on loan deals and The Daily Mirror and Independent now report that the gunners have a made a move for Real Madrid star James Rodriguez who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, the report claims that the gunners won’t permanently sign him but will be hoping to bring him to the Emirates Stadium since he is among the types of players which Unai Emery likes.
It is claimed that a deal could be done because it would be favourable to all parties, Real Madrid don’t currently need him, He wants playing time and Unai Emery’s Arsenal needs him in London. It is however surprising that the gunners would need to sign James Rodriguez when they already have Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey and are yet to sign defenders.
