Unai Emery speaks out on Ramsey’s injury and Aubameyang & Lacazette’s playing time

Arsenal's boss Unai Emery has given an update on Aaron Ramsey's injury and has also spoke about his decisions concerning Aubameyang and Lacazette.

The gunners have this season been struck by injuries at crucial parts of the season and Aaron Ramsey has become the latest player to go on the sidelines when the gunners are in a season defining moment. The Welshman was in the starting eleven that faced Napoli but he however got injured in the first half, and this scared the Arsenal fans because they want him to receive a good sendoff.

Arsenal’s head coach Unai Emery has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey will be out for three weeks and this is great because this means he will take part in the last match of the season, including the UEFA Europa League final (If Arsenal eliminates Valencia) if his recovery goes according to plan.

Aaron Ramsey has been very impressive for Arsenal in the last few weeks and it’s a pity that he has got injured again when he just got back on form. It seems like he is just unlucky as he can’t finish a season without being absent on the sidelines for a while.

Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have both scored 31 Premier League goals this season for Arsenal and the fans are always urging Unai Emery to always include them in the starting eleven, and he sometimes does it or just plays one of them.

Aubameyang and Lacazette have both said  how they like playing together but Unai Emery has elaborated more about this subject saying that he understands how all players want to play the full 90 minutes but that he sometimes chooses to just play one of them but admits how it’s difficult to tell that to the player.

“Every player wants to play each match for 90 minutes, but as a manager I need to use the player in the best moment.” Unai Emery told Arsenal Player.

“Maybe sometimes that is playing 90 minutes, maybe sometimes that is starting on the bench. But to convince the player that is very difficult.”
