Arsenal will on Sunday welcome their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium and they will be hoping to get their third win of the season.
The North London Derby is here and Arsenal will go head to head with Tottenham Hotspur who have had a poor start to the new season as they have won once, drawn and lost once in their last three matches. The North London Derby is one of the most anticipated matches in England and are usually filled with goals.
Arsenal come into this match after getting six points from their first three matches and they will be hoping to walk away with all the three points this Sunday as they don’t want to slip out of the Premier League top four in the first months of the season. Arsenal will be confident ahead of this game as they are welcoming back Mesut Ozil into the squad and we might finally see the anticipated attacking trio of Aubameyang, Lacazette and Pepe starting together vs Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs lost to Newcastle United at home last weekend and their boss Pochettino said that his squad was unsettled so all this uncertainty will surely give Unai Emery’s side an advantage. Arsenal’s last home Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur ended 4-2 but both clubs have strengthened their squads this summer and so we will once again probably have an exciting game that could include many goals.
TEAM NEWS:
Arsenal will be without Kieran Tierney, Dinos Mavropanos and Hector Bellerin as they are yet to return to full training. Even though Rob Holding has played in some under-23 matches, he will however not be in the matchday squad that faces Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur will be without their record signing Ndombele as he is still battling with a thigh injury. Kyle Walker-Peters and Dele Alli will also not take part in the match and Giovani Lo Celso might only make it to the bench due to lack of match fitness.
