How the Premier League suspension will greatly benefit Arsenal

The Premier League has been suspended until next month and so we take a look at how this suspension could greatly benefit Arsenal.

The Premier League has been suspended until April 3rd due to the spread of COVID-19 virus. This suspension of the league will definitely be a big punch to every club in the Premier League at the moment but we take a look at the positives that the gunners could gain from this break.

ARSENAL WILL BE BACK WITH A MUCH BETTER AND HEALTHY SQUAD

The gunners have in the last few months accumulated a great number of injuries due to the new change of style by Arteta but the suspension of the Premier League will definitely see the gunners come back with a much better and healthy group of players since the likes of Kieran Tierney, Sead Kolasinac and Cedric Soares will have been back to full fitness when the competition gets reopened.

Since this season will likely be extended, then this means that the gunners have a chance of seeing some of their players with long-term injuries like Torreira play a few games before the 2019/20 campaign ends. With the postponement of many matches, it looks like the clubs will have to play a lot of matches in a short period of time and so the North Londoners will need all the help they can get.

ARTETA WILL GET MORE TIME WITH THE PLAYERS TO IMPLEMENT HIS PHILOSOPHY

This one is a bit tricky since Mikel Arteta has tested positive for Corona Virus but if the gunners don’t get any more new staff or players that get the virus then, the squad and their boss could restart training after the quarantine period to start working on perfecting his philosophy.

In the statement that the club released about Mikel Arteta, he confirmed that he was looking forward to coming back as soon as he is cleared by the medical specialists and so he will definitely be looking to use that time to improve his side as they wait for the league to resume.
