Arsenal were interested in Wilfried Zaha last season but backed off due to his price but it's now being reported that they could get him on favourable conditions.

Arsenal was one of the most interested clubs in Wilfried Zaha in last year’s summer transfer window but the North Londoners failed to get him as Crystal Palace valued him at £80million and so they had to opt for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe who was available at £72million.
Arsenal are now currently happy with their right flank since Nicolas Pepe is playing there well so far but the gunners will however be looking to sign a new left winger as per reports as its believed that Mikel Arteta will try to move Aubameyang back into the centre forward role. Wilfried Zaha is a player that would instantly improve Arsenal and its now being reported that the gunners might have got a chance of signing him on terms that would be favourable for them.
A report by The Telegraph claims that Wilfried Zaha is pushing for a move away from Crystal Palace and that he is only chance of leaving might have to be a loan deal with an obligation to permanently sign him after 10 months, and these would be favourable terms for Arsenal as they would now have to only pay the loan fee and then pay his asking price the next season which could be after the Ivorian international has got them the UEFA Champions League.

The report claims that the financial problems that the COVID-19 has left the footballing world in is that the clubs might have to first sign players on season long loans and then pay the transfer fee after some time since they were all affected. It is no secret that Wilfried Zaha was wanted by Arsenal as most reports say that Unai Emery told the club to try to get him last year after he tore his team apart and the gunners will as last season be at the advantage since they are the boyhood club of the 27 year old.
