Arsenal reveals time Tierney will spend on sidelines in latest team news

Arsenal left back Kieran Tierney got injured in the game against Liverpool and the club has revealed the time he will be on the sidelines in the latest team news.

Arsenal left back Kieran Tierney was in the starting eleven that started the game against Liverpool at the weekend but he however had to be replaced by Cedric Soares due to a collision he had with James Milner. Arsenal will be once again be in action on Thursday when they host Slavia Prague at the Emirates Stadium and the club has released the latest team news with information about Tierney.

Arsenal left back Kieran Tierney was subbed off during the game against Liverpool a few days ago and the club has today finally announced that the Scottish international sustained a ligament damage to his left knee, and that this will see him stay on the sidelines for four to six weeks.

This is a very big blow for Arsenal as there is now little chance of him playing for the gunners again this season unless they reach the UEFA Europa League final but they will however still be glad that a surgery wasn’t needed since it might have kept him out for months if it happened.

The latest team news from Arsenal also revealed details about their injured players ahead of the game against Slavia Prague and it was confirmed that Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Granit Xhaka were all available for selection for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League game.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be happy that these three will now be available for selection as they are all integral to the tactics that he uses in matches and as for Kieran Tierney being out for many weeks, the Spanish boss could be forced to start Cedric in that position for the rest of the season.
