Stan Kroenke surprisingly comments on the rumours of Spotify founder wanting to buy Arsenal

Arsenal supporters recently protested against Stan Kroenke’s ownership of their club after he tried to drag the North London club into the European Super League and the fallout from that made Spotify founder Daniel Ek declare his intention to buy the club. There has been various reports claiming that Arsenal could be bought by Daniel Ek but Stan Kroenke’s company has surprisingly released a statement about this.

Kroenke, Sports & Entertainment got full ownership of the club three years ago and the Arsenal supporters believed that it could mean that Stan Kroenke would now start investing in the club but the club has however rapidly continued its decline. The Arsenal supporters have welcomed the idea of Daniel Ek and their three legends Henry, Vieira and Bergkamp owning their club but a statement released by Stan Kroenke through his company might not be comforting for them.

There has been reports that Spotify founder and billionaire Daniel Ek will soon make an offer to buy Arsenal Football Club but a statement from Kroenke, Sports & Entertainment has confirmed that there won’t be selling it and that they will not be willing to even listen to any offer as claimed by some articles. The statement released to the press reads;

“In recent days we have noted media speculation regarding a potential takeover bid for Arsenal Football Club.”

“We remain 100% committed to Arsenal and are not selling any stake in the Club. We have not received any offer and we will not entertain any offer.”

“Our ambition for Arsenal remains to compete to win the biggest trophies in the game and our focus remains on improving our competitiveness on the pitch to achieve this.”
