Revealed: How Arsenal propose to sign expensive James Maddison this summer

Arsenal are interested in James Maddison and its now been revealed how the gunners propose to sign expensive James Maddison.

Arsenal will in this summer transfer window try to sign an attacking midfielder since the club lost Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window and then also said goodbye to Martin Odegaard this month since he was only in North London on a six month loan deal. Arsenal have identified a number of players as targets and among them is James Maddison but everyone believes that the gunners wouldn’t be able to sign him.

James Maddison is considered as one of the best attacking midfielders in the league and the gunners have shown interest in him for a while but it’s always been very difficult to snatch Leicester City’s stars since its not a club that is low on cash as their recent major sale saw them get £80million from Manchester United for the transfer of Harry Maguire.

Arsenal supporters have been excited about the rumours linking them with a move for James Maddison but they however still feel it’s definitely not possible since they are not likely to meet the asking price of Leicester City but that might not be the case as per this report. Football.London claims that Maddison is one of Arsenal’s top targets as Mikel Arteta is a big fan and that even though the gunners are yet to make a formal approach to sign the Englishman, they have thought about signing the 24 year old through intermediaries.

The report claims that Leicester City will likely set an asking price of £60million for Maddison as despite injuries, he is still one of their best players. Intermediaries are nothing new for Arsenal fans as it’s believed they were instrumental in bringing Nicolas Pepe to the Emirates Stadium and so they could important in the proposal to sign Maddison this summer.
