Arsenal are interested in Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus and the gooners have received good news in their pursuit of the Brazilian international.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus for months now after it became clear that the gunners were going to get rid of all their strikers. There has been a little silence in the transfer rumours world about Gabriel Jesus until a few days ago where a report provided some update to gooners about progress of the deal.
The summer transfer window has not yet opened but it has become quite normal for clubs to complete deals even before paper can be officially signed as we have seen some clubs throughout Europe sign new players in recent days even though they will have to wait until the window opens to legally register them. Gabriel Jesus is an outstanding player that has been impressive this season and a report by ESPN has now claimed that the gunners have now become hesitant about a possible deal after Manchester City put an asking price of £55million.
The report claims that this huge asking price by Manchester City will make the Gabriel Jesus deal to Arsenal difficult but that it is however still not impossible and so gooners will hope that the gunners try to negotiate with their Citizen counterparts on reducing this price. Gabriel Jesus is believed to be hugely wanted by Mikel Arteta because the Spanish manager admires him and so he will likely influence whether the gunners give up on him or not.
