Arsenal are very busy in this winter transfer window and Joao Felix is among the players that the gunners are interested in but a move for him is currently blocked by one obstacle.
Top Spanish side Atletico Madrid completed the signing of Joao Felix from Benfica for €127million in 2019 and four years later, the young star has had problems at the LA Liga side as its been widely reported that he has failed to get used to the playing style of Diego Simeone.
It has in the past few weeks been reported that Joao Felix will leave Atletico Madrid this month and Arsenal are amongst those interested but a move to the Emirates Stadium is held up by one thing as per latest new reports. Arsenal are in the transfer market as they want to strengthen their side to mount a Premier League title challenge and the injury of Gabriel Jesus made it a priority to look for forward possible targets.
A report by The Athletic has confirmed that Arsenal are indeed interested in Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix but that a possible move is however hindered by outrageous demands from his club as its revealed that they have requested a loan fee of €15million plus his salary of €6million for just having him for the next six months.
The total would see Arsenal pay €21million to have Joao Felix for just a few months and the above report has claimed that the gunners, and other interested clubs would only accept to pay half of that.
