Arsenal will this weekend face Brentford at the Emirates Stadium and the gunners have reportedly received bad news ahead of this game.
Arsenal have received some bad news ahead of their game against Brentford this weekend, with Emile Smith Rowe set to miss out due to a groin problem as per Goal. The 22-year-old has this season faced a lot of injury problems which have led to him failing to get a chance to impress his boss Mikel Arteta.
Smith Rowe’s absence is not a major blow for Arsenal as they look to extend their five-point lead at the top of the table as the Englishman hasn’t been in the main starting eleven this season but the fans will still be disappointed as they want all their players to be available for selection. The Gunners have been in excellent form over the last few weeks until they made a trip to Goodison Park to face relegation threatened Everton.
They were beaten 1-0 by Everton last time out and will be hoping to bounce back with a win against Brentford on Saturday. Without Smith Rowe in the team, Arsenal’s task will be made all the more difficult as him being in the squad would increase the chances of the gunners if the main starting eleven doesn’t get the job done.
The Gunners are also without Gabriel Jesus who has been on the sidelines since December last year after having sustained an injury while on international duty for the Brazil national football team.
