Bukayo Saka goes into Premier League history books after win over Palace

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has today went into the Premier League history books after an outstanding performance against Crystal Palace.

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has made history as he became the first Premier League player to reach double figures for goals and assists this season. The 21-year-old achieved this feat in Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are currently in a title race as they sit at the top of the Premier League table with 69 points after 28 games. However, they are closely followed by second-placed Manchester City, who have 61 points plus a game in hand.

In the match against Crystal Palace, Saka scored two goals and provided an assist to help his team secure a comfortable victory. His first goal came in the 28th minute when he found Gabriel Martinelli, who fired Arsenal ahead with a brilliant strike.

Saka then doubled Arsenal’s lead just before half-time with a neat finish. In the second half, he scored his second goal of the game with a brilliant first-time strike in the 74th minute.

Jeffrey Schlupp got one back for Crystal Palace in the 63rd minute, but it was not enough to stop Arsenal from dominating the game. Granit Xhaka added a third goal for the league leaders in the 55th minute to seal their victory.
