Zinchenko reveals what made him happy about Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Fulham

The Premier League returned at the weekend and Arsenal were up against Fulham who they smashed 3-0, and Oleksandr Zinchenko has opened up about the result.

Arsenal secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Fulham on Sunday at Craven Cottage, thanks to a hat-trick of first-half assists from Leandro Trossard. The Gunners dominated the game from the start and controlled almost everything on and off the ball, according to Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The match started with controversy as VAR denied Arsenal the lead when Robinson scored an own goal on 16 minutes, with Gabriel Martinelli in an offside position in the build-up. However, moments after being denied the opener, Gabriel powered in Trossard’s corner to break Fulham’s resolve.

Martinelli then added a second with a downward header before Odegaard found a third moments before the break. He controlled Trossard’s cross from the left before lashing his effort into the bottom corner. The first half was all Arsenal as they dominated possession and created numerous chances.

Fulham came out better in the second half and could have scored a consolation through Mitrovic, but the striker rattled the bar with a header. However, it was too little too late as Arsenal walked away with all three points and a clean sheet.

Zinchenko praised Fulham for their performance this season and acknowledged that they are a dangerous team, especially at home. He also mentioned that Arsenal prepared well for this game and were able to control almost everything on and off the ball in the first half.

“Fulham are a very good team. They’ve played well this season, especially at home. We knew that they are so dangerous so we obviously prepared quite well.” Zinchenko told Arsenal website.
