Arsenal legend reveals the specific matches that will win them the Premier League

The Premier League title race has been outstanding this season as both Manchester City and Arsenal have been in good form this season. Ian Wright has revealed the matches that could make them Champions.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has spoken out about the matches he believes will determine whether the Gunners can win the Premier League this season. The former striker acknowledged that winning the title is no easy feat and highlighted that the pressure will only increase as the season progresses.

Wright identified key games that will test Arsenal’s title credentials, including fixtures against Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle, and Brighton. He stressed the importance of the Gunners going into these games with belief, as they will need to perform at their best to secure crucial points.

“Winning the Premier League title is no cakewalk, is it? It’s going to be tough – this is the stage of the season where the pressure ramps up. We expect Man City to find their best form but no game is easy because almost every team is still playing for something.” said Ian Wright on The Kelly and Wrighty show.

“Arsenal have got to get through this period if they want to win the title – but it’s not going to be easy. Playing Man City will be really tough and they will cause problems but I’m also looking at the Chelsea, Newcastle and Brighton games. Those are the games for me.”

While acknowledging the strength of Manchester City, who are currently in second place with 67 points and have a game in hand, Wright believes that Arsenal’s ability to navigate the upcoming fixtures will be the key to their title aspirations.

The Gunners have been in impressive form this season, with their attacking prowess and solid defense earning them 73 points after 30 games. However, they will face tough opposition in the coming weeks, with games against fellow top-six sides Chelsea and Manchester City.

Wright’s emphasis on belief is crucial, as Arsenal will need to maintain their confidence and momentum if they are to overcome the challenges ahead. The Gunners have shown that they are capable of beating any team on their day, but consistency will be key if they want to lift the Premier League trophy come May.

The next few weeks will be crucial for Arsenal, as they look to navigate a difficult run of fixtures and maintain their position at the top of the table. With the likes of Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang firing on all cylinders, the Gunners have every reason to believe that they can go all the way this season.
