Arteta makes surprising statement on upcoming Manchester City vs Arsenal match

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has opened up about whether the gunners will have won the Premier League title if they defeat Manchester City on Wednesday night.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has emphasized that a win against Manchester City on Wednesday night won’t mean that they have won the Premier League title. Arsenal is currently leading the Premier League table with 75 points after 32 games but is closely followed by second-placed Manchester City, which has 70 points plus two games in hand.

The match against Manchester City at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night is crucial for both teams as it could determine the outcome of the title race. However, Arteta has urged his team to remain focused and not get carried away with a potential victory.

“If we win tomorrow night, we haven’t won the league, for sure. It will shift a little bit, probably, in the percentage, but five games in this league, with the games we both have to play, are very tricky still,” said Arteta as per Football Daily.

Arteta’s comments reflect his pragmatic approach towards the title race. He understands that there are still many games left to play and anything can happen in football. Therefore, he wants his team to take one game at a time and not get ahead of themselves.

Arsenal has been in excellent form this season and has shown great resilience and determination in their matches. They have also been able to grind out results when needed, which is a sign of a championship-winning team.

However, Manchester City is also a formidable opponent and has shown their quality in recent matches. They will be looking to close the gap on Arsenal and put pressure on them in the remaining games.

The match between Arsenal and Manchester City promises to be an exciting encounter between two top teams. It will be interesting to see how both teams approach the game and whether they can maintain their form throughout the rest of the season.

In conclusion, Arteta’s comments show that he is aware of the challenges that lie ahead for Arsenal in their quest for the Premier League title. He knows that there are still many games left to play and that anything can happen in football. Therefore, he wants his team to remain focused and take one game at a time. The match against Manchester City will be a crucial test for Arsenal, and they will need to be at their best if they want to come out on top.
