Arteta’s Arsenal makes a decision on whether to let go of Reiss Nelson

The contract of Reiss Nelson at Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium will expire at the end of the season and Arteta's squad has made a decision on whether to keep him.

Arsenal have reportedly started negotiations with Reiss Nelson over a new contract, according to football transfer news guru Fabrizio Romano. The current deal of the 21-year-old winger expires in June, and Arsenal is keen to keep him at the club.

Nelson has not had many chances to play for Arsenal this season due to injuries, but he has made an impact whenever he has been on the pitch. He has scored three goals and made two assists in just four Premier League appearances, which is an impressive record.

Arsenal is currently in a title race as they are at the top of the Premier League table with 72 points after 29 games. However, they are closely followed by second-placed Manchester City, who have 64 points plus a game in hand.

Arteta would be happy to keep Reiss Nelson at Arsenal as he sees him as an important player for the future. However, more European clubs are showing interest in him as a potential free transfer.

Negotiations are currently underway between Arsenal and Reiss Nelson’s representatives for a contract extension. The talks are expected to continue over the coming weeks, and it remains to be seen whether Nelson will sign a new deal or leave on a free transfer.

Nelson joined Arsenal’s academy when he was just nine years old and has progressed through the ranks to become one of their most promising young players. He made his first-team debut in September 2017 and has since gone on to make 48 appearances for the club.

Arsenal fans will be hoping that Nelson signs a new contract soon so that he can continue his development at the club. With his pace, skill, and eye for goal, he could become an important player for them in the years ahead.

In conclusion, Arsenal’s negotiations with Reiss Nelson over a new contract show that they see him as an important player for their future plans. With more European clubs showing interest in him, it remains to be seen whether he will sign a new deal or leave on a free transfer. However, Arsenal fans will be hoping that he stays at the club and continues to develop into a top-class player.
