Report: A look at Arsenal’s remaining 7 Premier League games in their quest for the title

Arsenal are currently in a Premier League title race with Manchester City and so we take a look at the gunners' last seven league games.

As the Premier League season heats up, Arsenal find themselves in a title race with Manchester City. The Gunners are currently sitting at the top of the table with 74 points after 31 games, but they are closely followed by second-placed Manchester City, who have 70 points and a game in hand.

With just seven games left to play, Arsenal will need to be at their best if they want to hold off Manchester City and win their first Premier League title since 2004. Let’s take a look at their remaining fixtures and what they can expect from each game.

First up is Southampton at home. Southampton are currently in 20th place in the table and have struggled for consistency this season. However, they have shown that they can cause an upset on their day, so Arsenal will need to be wary of them.

Next is a trip to Manchester City. This is arguably Arsenal’s toughest fixture of the season, as City are one of the best teams in Europe right now. However, Arsenal did manage to beat other top Premier League sides this season, so they will be hoping for a repeat performance.

After that is Chelsea at home. Chelsea are currently in eleventh place and will be desperate for a win as they try to leave the bottom half. This promises to be a tough game for Arsenal.

Then it’s off to Newcastle United away. Newcastle are currently in 4th place and fighting for a UEFA Champions League spot, so this should be a game that Arsenal cannot win comfortably.

Brighton at home follows that fixture. Brighton are another team fighting for European competition spots and will be looking to cause an upset against Arsenal. However, if Arsenal play as well as they can do, this should be another win for them.

Nottingham Forest away is next on the list. This should be an easy win for the gunners as Nottingham Forest has been poor this season as its 18th on the table.

Finally, Arsenal will finish their Premier League campaign with a home game against Wolves. Wolves have had an average season and are currently in 13th, so this could be a tricky game for Arsenal.

Overall, Arsenal have a tough run-in to the end of the season. They will need to be at their best if they want to hold off Manchester City and win the title. However, if they can play as well as they have been doing all season, there’s no reason why they can’t achieve their goal.
