Sir Alex Ferguson reveals the one thing that makes him jealous of Arsene Wenger

Legendary former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has opened up on the remarkable achievement that Arsene Wenger did that he too couldn't manage to do in his time.

Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary former manager of Manchester United, has recently spoken out about the incredible achievement of Arsene Wenger’s Invincibles. In an interview with Amazon Prime, Ferguson admitted that despite winning thirteen league titles with Manchester United, he was never able to achieve what Wenger did with Arsenal in the 2003-04 season.

The Invincibles were a truly remarkable team. They went through the entire Premier League season without losing a single game, winning 26 matches and drawing 12. They finished the season with 90 points, 11 points clear of second-placed Chelsea. It was a feat that had never been achieved before in English football and has not been repeated since.

Ferguson was full of praise for Wenger and his team, acknowledging that their achievement stands above everything else. “I won thirteen leagues,” he said, “but I was never near going through a season undefeated. The achievement, it stands aside – it stands above EVERYTHING else & it was Arsenal’s.”

It is rare for one manager to speak so highly of another in this way, but Ferguson’s comments are a testament to the magnitude of what Wenger and his team accomplished. The fact that Ferguson himself was unable to achieve this feat only adds to its significance.

Of course, Ferguson’s record at Manchester United is nothing to be sniffed at. He won an incredible 38 trophies during his time at Old Trafford, including two Champions League titles and five FA Cups. He also oversaw some of the greatest teams in English football history, including the treble-winning side of 1999.

But even with all those achievements under his belt, Ferguson recognizes that what Wenger did with Arsenal in that one season was something truly special. It speaks to the level of respect and admiration that exists between these two great managers.

In conclusion, Sir Alex Ferguson’s recent comments about Arsene Wenger’s Invincibles serve as a reminder of just how remarkable that team was. Their achievement stands as one of the greatest in English football history, and even a manager as successful as Ferguson was unable to match it. It is a testament to Wenger’s skill and leadership, and a moment that will be remembered by football fans for generations to come.
