Arsenal have made Declan Rice their main summer transfer target and the gunners have reportedly had their bid rejected, and told how much they need to pay.
West Ham United have rejected Arsenal’s opening bid to sign their star player, Declan Rice. The Hammers believe that the 24-year-old midfielder is worth £110 million, according to The Daily Mail. Although Arsenal are willing to pay close to West Ham’s asking price, their opening offer was believed to be lower.
Rice had an impressive season with West Ham United, scoring four goals and providing two assists. He was one of the players that helped the team escape relegation and win the UEFA Europa Conference trophy. His performances have caught the attention of several top clubs in Europe, including Arsenal.
The addition of Declan Rice would be a significant boost for Arsenal as they look to challenge for the Premier League title next season. Rice is known for his versatility and can play as a defensive midfielder or as a centre-back. He has been a consistent performer for West Ham United over the past few seasons and has established himself as one of the best young talents in English football.
However, West Ham United are not willing to let go of their prized asset easily. They believe that Rice is worth £110 million and are not willing to accept anything less than that amount. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will increase their offer or look elsewhere for reinforcements.
In conclusion, Declan Rice is a highly sought-after player in European football, and it is no surprise that Arsenal are interested in signing him. However, West Ham United’s asking price of £110 million is a significant hurdle for the Gunners. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to strike a deal with the Hammers or look elsewhere for reinforcements.

Not taking any sides. However, if Arsenal wants to build on from their 2nd place finish last season domestically and the player does want to join in which he does since there's Champions League football coming up soon, then they gotta pay what West Ham is asking with the £120 million and go from there. That way, they can have one of the best DMs/No.6s out there as to why he can be such a huge asset & learn from the very best at whichever PL club he chooses this summer.
