Arteta reveals how Arsenal is making sure Kai Havertz doesn’t become a flop

Arsenal completed the signing of Kai Havertz in the summer transfer window and Mikel Arteta has opened up on how they are helping the German international.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has addressed the criticism surrounding Kai Havertz’s slow start at the Emirates Stadium, expressing his commitment to helping the young midfielder succeed. Havertz, who was signed from Chelsea for £65 million in the summer, has yet to score a goal for Arsenal.

Speaking to the media, Arteta acknowledged Havertz’s talent and highlighted the areas in which he has excelled. However, he also emphasized the need for improvement in certain aspects of his game.

“We’re trying to help him as much as possible,” Arteta said. “We want to give him the tools and minutes to showcase his talent. There are parts of his game that he’s doing exceptionally well, but there are also areas that he needs to continue working on.”

Arteta’s comments reflect his belief in Havertz’s potential and his determination to support the player through this challenging period. The manager understands that adapting to a new team and league can take time, and he is committed to providing Havertz with the necessary opportunities to thrive.

Despite Havertz’s slow start, Arsenal have performed well as a team, currently sitting in fifth place on the Premier League table with 14 points. Their recent victory over Brentford in the Carabao Cup third round further demonstrated their resilience and determination.

Looking ahead, Arsenal face a tough test against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium in their next Premier League fixture. Arteta will be hoping that Havertz can contribute to the team’s success and start making a bigger impact on the field.

As the season progresses, Arteta’s focus will be on finding the right balance between nurturing Havertz’s development and achieving positive results as a team. With his guidance and support, Arsenal fans will be hopeful that Havertz can overcome his early struggles and fulfill his potential at the Emirates Stadium.
