How Unai Emery’s Arsenal Is Improving

Arsenal Football Club begun this season with a new manager for the first time in 22 years and Unai Emery who is the gunners new boss has surprisingly received much support from the Arsenal supporters yet he just arrived this year.

The gunners made five signings in the summer transfer window and even though they weren’t world-class players, but the Arsenal fans believe that Unai Emery understood the positions which needed improvement for a long time and then signed players to fill those positions. The impressive performances in the pre-season matches of Arsenal made the fans so eager to see the gunners in a competitive match.

Arsenal however had a very tough start to the new season with two losses against their arch rivals, Manchester City and Chelsea. And unlike in Arsene Wenger’s reign, the Arsenal supporters were still optimistic with Unai Emery and instead said that their team is better than in the past, even though it lost its first two matches, this was a clear sign that the fans were tired of Wenger.

Unai Emery always spoke of how he is still in the testing phase because he was new to English football and said that his players are still trying to adapt to the new playing style which he has introduced to them. Arsenal has recovered from those two losses and has won its last four matches even though it was lucky to have won some but it remains three points in the bag for the North Londoners.

It is interesting to see that the Arsenal boss has finally gave in to the pressure from the Arsenal supporters because he used a lineup which they want on Sunday when they welcomed Everton at the Emirates Stadium. The gunners have also begun their European campaign with a whooping 4-2 win but the Arsenal defence was slammed by many football analysts for letting in two late goals yet it had a four goal lead in the second half against Vorskla.

So Arsenal is the first on its Europa League group E table and are in the sixth position on the Premier League table, so it seems Unai Emery is now on a steady progress because their next five matches don’t include any big teams.
