Lacazette Speaks Out On His Goal Against Everton

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette scored against Everton yesterday and the French international says that he knew where to send the ball when he got it.

Alexandre Lacazette was in the starting eleven that played Everton on Sunday and the gunners were victorious with the French international scoring one goal which was truly exceptional.

Alexandre Lacazette was left on the bench in Arsenal’s Europa League match against Vorskla on Thursday and he came into this match hoping to make an impact so that he can safe guard his position in Unai Emery’s first eleven. Lacazette had a poor first half on Sunday because he wasn’t receiving any balls because the Arsenal midfield was unstable but he finally got on the score sheet in the second half.

Alexandre Lacazette was asked how he felt about scoring Arsenal’s first goal and he said that he knew where to shoot the ball when the right opportunity came;

“Yes, I knew where I wanted it to go because we work on it a lot in training so when I’m in this area, I know where I have to shoot.” The Arsenal striker told Arsenal Media.

The gunners later won the match 2-0 after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doubled their lead and the Arsenal supporters are happy that both of their forwards were on the score sheet because they spent a long time urging Unai Emery via social media to be using them together.

Alexandre Lacazette wasn’t on the starting eleven of Arsenal in its first three matches but he worked hard in his substitute appearances until the manager saw that he got potential and it seems he is now ahead of Aubameyang because the Arsenal boss always removes the Gabon international from the game at the 70th minute.
