Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has demanded for answers on why the North London club removed the offer from the table yet he was about to sign.
Aaron Ramsey’s transfer saga has been going on for weeks now after a report came out claiming that the gunners had withdrawn the deal from the discussion table yet the Wales international was ready to sign it.
This report brought a lot of controversy in the Arsenal fan base because most believed that this was a nice move by the North London club because the 29-year-old was putting pressure on Arsenal yet it has coped up with him when he had a long-term injury while some believe that the club is being un fair to him.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery has always avoided questions about the reports about Ramsey and said that he has no say because they are three types of people who will determine the future of the midfielder at the Emirates Stadium are; The Club, himself and his representatives. Aaron Ramsey also spoke recently about how he will continue playing football for the gunners until his contract expires next year because he doesn’t want to think about anything else for now.
Aaron Ramsey has however made a panic statement about his future at Arsenal as he claims that he doesn’t know why the club removed the deal from the table yet he was about to sign it.
“Hopefully somebody will come up and tell me why, I will accept that if there’s a reason. When the time is right, I probably will find out but that hasn’t happened yet.” Aaron Ramsey told the Evening Standard.
“There is no contract on the table at the moment so there is nothing for me to consider or whatever. We all know that the contract was taken away off the table. I’m not sure exactly why because a few weeks before we sort of agreed and I was ready to sign.”
The statement by the former Cardiff City midfielder clearly confirms most of the reports that have been made about the future of the Arsenal midfielder but we also got to ask ourselves the same question which he is asking, why did the North Londoners withdraw the new deal from the table? There hasn’t been any confirmation from the club.
