Unai Emery Reveals How He Improves His Players

Arsenal was seen as underdogs at the beginning of this season because they didn’t sign any prominent player or should I say a world-class player and their losses against Manchester City and Chelsea was enough proof that the gunners were going to have a difficult season with a new manager.

Arsenal’s new boss Unai Emery has recovered from those two losses to go on a winning streak of 11 matches and everyone has applauded the Spanish coach for everything he has done for the North London club because they are now finally in the Premier League top four.

Aside from the good results of Arsenal, the fans have also been impressed with how Unai Emery has managed to transform the performance of some of their players who weren’t impressive last season with one example being Alex Iwobi who has had great performances in Arsenal’s last two Premier League matches. The Arsenal fans have even nicknamed him the “Nigerian Messi” because he is good at dribbling. Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has revealed how he is able to make his players better.

“I think my idea with the players is to give them confidence every day by working hard in every session, in the video analysis, with the videos we give them.” Unai Emery told Arsenal Player.

“We give them the opportunity to watch their action first, their good actions, their bad actions, and this is the way for them to take a lot of confidence or learn how to improve.”

It seems the Arsenal coach always works hard to improve everyone in his squad because he is seen many times having one on one conversations with his players when they are at the training grounds. Arsenal defeated Sporting Lisbon on Thursday thanks to a late goal by Danny Welbeck.

Arsenal’s next match will be against Crystal Palace on Sunday at the Selhurst Park.
