German based club ready to appoint Arsene Wenger as new boss

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said that he is still interested in coaching even though he is now 69-years-old.

Arsene Wenger left Arsenal in May this year after having been with the North Londoners for more than 20 years. The Frenchman has been jobless for the last six months but he has however been linked with a number of jobs like becoming Japan national team’s new manager and more recently, he was linked to AC Milan but he rejected those rumours after about one week.

Arsene Wenger said that he will start working at his new job in January, 2019 and a report by the Mirror claims that the former Arsenal boss will soon be appointed as the new manager of Bayern Munich because the German club wants to cut ties with Niko Kovac because the club is currently under performing in the Bundesliga.

The report claims that Bayern Munich’s board is discussing Arsene Wenger as a possible replacement for Niko Kovac and given that the French international has a nice CV, he won three Premier League trophies for the gunners including the invincible season where his team won the league without losing any match. The Bayern board will probably try to convince him to coming to Germany.

Arsene Wenger has already said that he will not coach a club in the Premier League because he also now supports Arsenal but he however also confirmed that he isn’t retired yet because he is still interested in coaching.
