Celtic make new statement about Kieran Tierney amid Arsenal’s interest

Kieran Tierney to Arsenal rumours have been going on for weeks and Celtic's boss Neil Lennon has confirmed that a second bid from the gunners has been rejected.

The gunners are interested in Celtic left back Kieran Tierney after Unai Emery told the Arsenal chiefs that he wants the Scottish international to be brought at the Emirates Stadium in this summer transfer window because Kolasinac and Monreal weren’t impressive last season.

Kieran Tierney is an outstanding left back and the gunners have so far made two bids for him with the latest one getting rejected by Celtic at the weekend. Celtic have put an asking price of £25million on Kieran Tierney and the gunners are reportedly yet to meet that valuation since they are trying to take their bids to £25million via the use of add-ons.

Kieran Tierney is currently undergoing rehabilitation in Scotland and the gunners have been in negotiations with Celtic for weeks now but he however hasn’t released any statement publicly. However, Celtic boss Neil Lennon has confirmed that Arsenal’s second bid was rejected and has sent a message to the board of the gunners, claiming that they are comfortable with the situation since they don’t want to sell Kieran Tierney.

“The club’s valuation of Kieran hasn’t been met, so until then we don’t have a discussion to make really.” Celtic boss Neil Lennon told Sky Sports.

“I don’t know what Arsenal’s financial state is but I know what ours is and we’re quite comfortable with the situation.”

Some rumours in Scotland claim that Arsenal will soon be making a new bid for Kieran Tierney and it apparently could be the final one as time is running out for them to complete deals.
