Torreira, Luiz & Martinelli latest Arsenal team news ahead of game against Norwich City

Arsenal will be facing Norwich City on Wednesday and the gunners have released their latest team news with updates about Torreira, Martinelli and David Luiz.

Arsenal will tomorrow face Norwich at the Emirates Stadium for the first time since the Premier League restart and this will be a game that Arteta will want to win to keep their Premier League top four hopes alive. Arsenal have released the latest team news with updates about many players including David Luiz, Lucas Torreira and Gabriel Martinelli.

Arsenal defensive midfielder Lucas Torreira got injured in an FA Cup game against Portsmouth a few months ago and the Premier League has returned when he is yet to get fit but the latest released team news confirm that he is now back in full training and that he will be assessed ahead of the game against Norwich to see if he can take part in that game.

David Luiz quickly went back into the Arsenal starting eleven after his suspension ended in the FA Cup game against Sheffield United but he however didn’t finish the game as he had to be taken off after picking up a knee injury. Luiz is also being assessed ahead of tomorrow’s game against Norwich.

Arsenal youngster Gabriel Martinelli who arrived at the North London club last year suffered an injury after a devastating challenge from one of his teammates in training some time back and the club has confirmed that he had a successful arthroscopic procedure undertaken to repair a lesion in the cartilage of his left knee but that he will still not be available for selection in the remaining games of the season.

Cedric Soares joined Arsenal with an injury and he is yet to make an appearance for the North Londoners as the gunners say that the Portuguese right back will be assessed ahead of the upcoming game. Pablo Mari got injured in the loss to Manchester City a few weeks back and will be out for three months, Ozil missed the last game due to a back problem but he will be assessed as well while Bernd Leno will be hoping to return in one month. As for Chambers, he is continuing his rehabilitation.
