Report: Dani Ceballos makes a big hint at permanently staying at Arsenal

Dani Ceballos arrived at Arsenal for a season long loan from Real Madrid and he has hint at possibly wanting to make his move to England permanent.

Dani Ceballos arrived at Arsenal in the 2019 summer transfer window on a season long loan deal from Real Madrid and he has in the last few weeks become a regular starter in the starting eleven of Mikel Arteta. There have been rumours that Arsenal might get Ceballos on a cheap deal and he has now also hint at possibly staying at the Emirates Stadium.

Dani Ceballos was at first not considered by Mikel Arteta but he however worked hard in training and proved that he wanted to play for the gunners hence getting a chance in the starting eleven and making a great partnership with Granit Xhaka. Ceballos scored Arsenal’s winning goal in the FA Cup quarter final match against Sheffield United and was once again one of the best players in their surprising victory over Manchester City two days ago.

Mikel Arteta hasn’t been secretive in expressing how he would love to keep Dani Ceballos at the Emirates Stadium and the Spanish midfielder has also now hint at wanting to make his move permanent in an exclusive interview with Sky Sports.

Ceballos revealed that he would be returning to Real Madrid at the end of the season and that he will wait to see what decision his parent club makes before making a decision on his future, and also happily admits that he has been really happy at Arsenal this season, and the hints at wanting his next destination to being the gunners as he wouldn’t take time to adapt as he would already knows and is used to everything now.

“After that, I have to be calm. I have to return to Real Madrid and they have to make a decision because I have a contract there for the next three years.” Dani Ceballos told Sky Sports.

“Once I know their decision, I will sit down with my family and the people close to me and see what’s best for me next year.”

“But the truth is I’m very happy at Arsenal. It’s a club in which I already have a year of experience, so it would be very easy to return. I wouldn’t have to adapt to a new league or new club with a different manager and players.”

“I think it would be a good step for me. But like I said, my future depends on Real Madrid and right now I don’t know their decision.”
