Arsenal confirms the three players that will miss their match against Southampton

Arsenal has confirmed the three players that will miss their Premier League match against Southampton today at the St Mary's Stadium.

The Premier League has returned after a weekend of the FA Cup and Arsenal will face Southampton at the St Mary’s Stadium today and the North London club has just announced the three players that will not be available for selection. This will be a must win game for Mikel Arteta to keep his Premier League top four hopes alive but the team news released the club reveals that some key players won’t participate.

1. PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was in the squad that was to face Southampton in the FA Cup last weekend but he however withdrew before the game due to a personal family reasons and we still aren’t yet to know what it is about. It is however advised that the Arsenal supporters don’t speculate as to what has happened to Aubameyang as he deserves his privacy.

The club has confirmed that he won’t be involved in this game and the Arsenal fans will hope to see him soon, and have been giving him support on social media.

2. DANI CEBALLOS

Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has a calf injury and he will miss today’s game against Southampton due to that same problem but the club also mentions that he will be assessed in the next few days which shows that he could be available for their next game. Ceballos was missed in their FA Cup game against The Saints and would of course have been a good option off the bench in today’s game and so Arteta will hope he makes a quick return.

3. PABLO MARI

Pablo Mari was on a great run of form in the last few games but he has however picked up a calf injury and this will see him miss today’s game against Southampton. Mari and Holding had formed a fantastic partnership in the absence of Gabriel.
