Arsenal receive a big injury boost ahead of their season ending fixtures

Arsenal have received a big injury boost ahead of their upcoming season ending fixtures in the Premier League and the UEFA Europa League.

The 2020/21 season will soon come to an end and Arsenal is one of the clubs that are still in other competitions as they are in the UEFA Europa League and have reached the semi finals. Arsenal centre back David Luiz recently got injured in their game against Newcastle United and there has been fear about how long he will be out for.

Arsenal has in the past few weeks seen many important players such as Alexandre Lacazette and Kieran Tierney go on the sidelines on a critical time of the season, and David Luiz also joined them at the weekend as he limped off the pitch which was later confirmed to be a hamstring injury by Mikel Arteta in his post-match press conference hence many believing that the Brazilian would be out for many weeks hence ultimately not featuring for the North Londoners again in this campaign.

A report by Daily Mail is however reporting that Arsenal might have received an injury boost ahead of their next fixtures after its been found out that the injury that David Luiz sustained on Sunday was not severe and that there is a belief that he will feature for the gunners again this season. David Luiz’s return will be something that will make Mikel Arteta happy as this would mean that the Brazilian would have a chance of featuring in the UEFA Europa League final if the gunners manage to progress past Villarreal on Thursday.

The gunners will also hope to have their other players on the sidelines back as soon as possible as they will need them in the squad so that the club can have a successful end to what has been rather a forgettable season.
