REVEALED: When Kai Havertz will have his Arsenal medical and official announcement
Arsenal are reported to have reached an agreement with Chelsea for Kai Havertz and a report has revealed the date for his medical and official announcement.
Arsenal fans have been eagerly waiting for news on the transfer of Kai Havertz from Chelsea, and now it seems that the deal is finally set to be completed. According to ESPN journalist James Olley, Havertz’s medical is due to take place this weekend, with the official announcement of his transfer expected next week.
Havertz had a mixed season at Chelsea, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in the Premier League as the Blues finished 12th on the league table. However, he remains one of the most highly-rated young talents in European football and Arsenal fans will be hoping that he can help them push for the Premier League title next season.
Despite missing out on the title last season, Arsenal fans will be buoyed by their team’s progress under manager Mikel Arteta and will hope that Havertz can help take them to the next level. The German international is known for his technical ability and versatility, able to play as an attacking midfielder or on either wing.
Havertz had a few years remaining on his Chelsea contract but it seems that he has decided to move on from Stamford Bridge. Arsenal have reportedly agreed a £65million deal with Chelsea for his services, making him one of their most expensive signings ever.
Arsenal fans will be eagerly awaiting confirmation of Havertz’s transfer and will hope that he can help them push for the Premier League title next season. With Arteta at the helm and a talented squad at his disposal, the Gunners could be a force to be reckoned with in the coming years.
