After Arsenal’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth, midfielder Declan Rice praised teammate Kai Havertz for his hard work and dedication. Rice highlighted Havertz’s commitment in training and his exceptional performance in the match, which saw him score his first goal for Arsenal.

Speaking to Arsenal Media, Rice said, “Honestly, he (Kai Havertz) works his socks off every day in training. In games, he gives absolutely everything. He’s had chances to score this year, hadn’t scored yet, but today to slot away a penalty in that high-pressure moment shows the mindset that he’s got, shows the talent he’s got, and his all-round performance was so special. I’m so happy for him.”

Havertz’s goal was significant not only because it was his first for Arsenal since joining from Chelsea for £65 million in the summer transfer window but also because it helped him regain confidence and silence his critics. The young midfielder had faced scrutiny for his lack of goals in recent weeks, but his performance against Bournemouth showcased his potential as a valuable asset to the team.
